Many of our clients face zoning restrictions that prevent expansion, or they simply prefer to work within their home's existing footprint. These projects are among our favorite as they present the most design challenges, save considerable cost and usually deliver the most dramatic impact for our clients.

A second floor laundry was created by tucking the washer/dryer under the stairs.

By capturing space above a set of stairs, two adjacent bedrooms were each provided with an 18" deep built-in dresser; the bottom drawer is actually a fixed panel to accommodate the sloped ceiling of the stairs.

A clever deck layout effortlessly accommodates a dining table, built-in bench seating, and a grill, while strategically placed handrails preserve the unobstructed views from the adjacent family room.
